The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015. The Global Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
In Season 5, we sit down with stakeholders working across numerous sectors and industries, to find a common language to address, measure and demonstrate the impact that they are making in tackling the 17 Global Goals.
From Berlin to Sydney, from Seoul to Hong Kong, our #impact hosts will bring you stories from all over the globe as you find inspiration on how to make an #impact in your community too.
I WANTED TO STEP OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE AND DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
As we are currently curating storied for our upcoming Season 5. Behind the scenes, we are working hard on researching which stories to bring you that will make the biggest impact.
To tackle the 17 Global Goals we need bold leadership across all sectors and industries, the contributions of big corporations, matter just as much as the work of Non-Profits and the civil society.
In the end it all comes down to to that first person, taking that first, seemingly small step, to be brave enough to take action, and challenge the status quo.
In this episode, we highlight one of these individual contributions. A former #impact guest that really inspires us in how she makes a contribution is Samantha Aloysius.
Her story first featured on #impact in autumn 2017. At that time she was volunteering at Crossroads Foundation in Hong Kong. Going back to this recording is such a great reminder for us here at #impact that the contributions of our production is indeed making an impact.
We are in this together and if we want to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, it is time for all of us to be brave enough to take action.
