I am getting better at this.

No major technical problems during the recordings this week. YAY! And despite a nasty cold, my voice does not sound too ridiculous on the recordings.

Today I also want to introduce an amazing project I was part of last summer –  Jumpstart Kids, a summer camp for aspiring young Social Entrepreneurs. The kids wrote a book on “How to be a good babysitter“, and all the proceeds will go to Hong Kong Dog Rescue, a charity the kids picked. Today the book signing day is finally here, so I will head over to Central to get my copy signed by the Jumpstart Kids. That’s what happened at the book signing.

Earlier this week…

Earlier this week I met with Patrick Kosiol, Founder and CEO of Swapit an online marketplace for trading pre-loved items. We discussed the enormous waste challenges that rapidly growing cities all over the world will need to overcome and I can’t wait to share his story with you. It’s intriguing how it all started, and it has a lot to do with him becoming a new dad.

I had met Patrick at the Impact2 World Award Pitch I visited during Podcasting week 1. We bumped into each other in the elevator on the way to the event, him wearing his green Swapit T-Shirt and a little bit nervous about the upcoming pitch. He did great and … almost won. Here you can read how he experienced this day.

#impact Podcast episode #3 featuring Patrick will be coming your way soon.

Have a lovely day.

Yours,
Regina
